Lead AI Engineer / Architect

Full-time · Fully remote · Germany · €150,000+ per year

You will design and build agentic systems for our clients, and you will own them from the first architecture sketch to production. This is a hands-on role: you set the technical direction and you write the code.

What you will do

  • Architect and build production agentic systems: multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails
  • Design the enterprise software around the agents, across backend services, APIs, data layers, and the frontends people actually use
  • Deploy AI where the client needs it: in the cloud, on-premise, or air-gapped on local hardware
  • Lead client engagements technically, from the discovery call through architecture, delivery, and handoff
  • Make the calls on models, frameworks, and infrastructure, and explain the trade-offs to engineers and executives alike
  • Raise the bar for the team through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring

What you bring

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering, including time as a senior, lead, or architect
  • Extensive hands-on experience building agentic systems on LLMs and shipping them to production, not only prototypes
  • Strong full-stack background in enterprise solutions: backend services and APIs, modern frontend frameworks, and cloud infrastructure
  • Solid grounding in RAG, evaluation, observability, and the cost and latency trade-offs of running LLM systems at scale
  • A security mindset, and experience integrating AI into existing enterprise systems and data
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken. Both are required
  • Clear communication and the confidence to work directly with clients

Lead Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer

Full-time · Fully remote · Germany · €150,000+ per year

You are a Kubernetes and infrastructure geek: you know what happens below the YAML, and you enjoy it. You will design, build, and harden the platforms our clients' software runs on, across cloud, on-premise clusters, and air-gapped environments. This is a hands-on role: you set the technical direction and you write the infrastructure code.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes platforms: cluster architecture, networking, storage, upgrades, multi-tenancy, and multi-cluster setups
  • Architect cloud and hybrid infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, from landing zone and networking to cost control
  • Run infrastructure on bare metal and on-premise where the client needs it, including Linux, virtualisation, and networking down to the wire
  • Manage everything as code: Terraform or equivalent, GitOps, repeatable environments
  • Build the CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms that let teams ship safely
  • Build security in from the start: zero-trust networking, identity and secrets management, hardened pipelines, compliance requirements
  • Set up observability, reliability targets, and incident response so systems stay up and problems are found early
  • Lead client engagements technically, from the discovery call through architecture, delivery, and handoff
  • Raise the bar for the team through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring

What you bring

  • 10+ years of professional experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, including time as a senior, lead, or architect
  • Expert-level Kubernetes: you have run it in production for years and understand its internals, including the control plane, CNI, CSI, ingress, operators, and what to do when they break
  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals: kernel, containers, DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS
  • Deep hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and solid working knowledge of a second
  • Infrastructure as code and GitOps as your default way of working, with fluency in at least one of Go, Python, or Bash
  • A DevSecOps mindset: you treat security, cost, and reliability as part of the design, not as later additions
  • Experience migrating and integrating enterprise systems, including hybrid and on-premise environments
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken. Both are required
  • Clear communication and the confidence to work directly with clients

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI infrastructure: operating GPU clusters or serving LLMs in production
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS) or open-source contributions in the cloud-native ecosystem
  • Experience with air-gapped or regulated environments
  • Background in cybersecurity or penetration testing
  • Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
